West & East
Docklands - 2017
A part of the DLR that hangs over some of East London's busiest roads, the stretch out towards City Airport can sometimes feel like it dumps you in the middle of nowhere; it's a good walk from even the nearest homes. However, opened in the late 80s the Docklands Light Railway now provides a life line to a part of London long ignored by tube and rail expansion.
The confluence of the DLR and road network in this part of the city provides brilliant opportunities for curving light trails over multiple levels. With Canary Wharf in the background, this is a combination of several images to get an even spread of cars across the road.
